PRONGHORNS IN NEW MEXICO

As one of New Mexico's original outfitters, our partner has leased 90% of the private ranches in the county at one time or another. They know which ranches consistently produce quality year over year. Our partner has gotten to know personally, all of the landowners and their commitment to the ranches, how they handle conservation of the wildlife and how they care for their land.

New Mexico ranches are allowed to designate the number of pronghorn tags for their ranch and someone without proper knowledge of conservation and limits, can take hunting numbers too far too quickly to a point that quality won't bounce back.

Our partner only leases the best private lands in the area for this reason. They have owned their private lodge since the 1990's in the same county as their leases and is a part of the community vs an outfitter that only comes in to hunt. In the 45 years of outfitting, they have been a part of an immeasurable amount of core hunting memories for hunters from all over the world.

CAMP

As you arrive at the rural private lodge, you will be greeted by a team of guides and lodge staff. They will show you to your private rooms and let you get settled for your stay with us. The lodge cooks will prepare all of your meals and pride themselves on offering both meals that majority of people are familiar with and enjoy, along with a few items that represent the state of New Mexico and its original cuisine.

This camp offers a great feeling of camaraderie as they are always hosting groups that are hunting different areas and/or species which makes more opportunity to network with like minded individuals.

THE HUNT

This particular guided hunt, produces the best results when it can be hunted 2x1.

Pronghorn are very aware of their surroundings so the less traffic and people on the ranch, the better. The population and size of the ranch play a big factor in allowing us to the do this and keep success number high- going 100% for the last 5 years consecutively.

This ranch offers not only high quality and even consistently a few B&C buck per year, but also a plethora of unique animals as well. You'll spend your 3 full hunt days looking over all the bucks the ranch has to offer until you find one that you'd like to tie all your hunt memories to and wrap the tag around. We handle all the field dressing and even drop off at the meat processor if you prefer.
