1st Annual Hosted Cali Boar Hunt

Join FE Outrider's Expeditionary Logistics Quartermaster, Dave Costarella, for wild boar hunting in the foothills of California.

March 19th - 22nd, 2026

This hunt will be 3 nights & 3 days in Central California to smoke a coveted CALI BOAR! 

You will experience a fully guided hunt on private ranches for wild pigs roaming Central California on 80,000 acres out of Bradley, CA.

You can expect to see 40 or more pigs per day! Spot and stalk methods are used as well as ground blinds when hunting archery. Most pigs procured on the grounds have had an average weight of 160lbs, while a few have exceeded 300 lbs.!

After hunting these big CALI BOARS, you will retreat back to the lodge for a great meal, drinks, and swapping stories about the day! This will be a great time!

The Hunt

Hunters can expect to be in the field all day with a break for lunch around noon.

The preferred hunting style is spot and stalk, however we do have strategically positioned tree stands and ground blinds. Accommodations for all levels of hunters and all levels of fitness can be made.

DRIVING DISTANCE FROM MAJOR CITIES: 2 hours from Bakersfield, CA

TRANSPORTATION: Car rental is required

APPROXIMATE LICENSE COST: CA wild pig validation $27.57 CA resident; $98.85 for non-residents. Unlimited number of wild pigs during the license year.
